- Understanding the nutritional needs to meet demands a youth player faces
- Intensity contribution from fat and carbohydrates during exercise
- Implications of fat free mass
- TDEE, NREE, and REE
- Carbohydrate intake
- Protein intake
- Pre & post exercise foods
- Hydration
- Targeting behavior
By the end of this course you will be competent in understanding the literature within youth systems regarding nutrition and be able to identify tools and resources to best serve youth athletes. Creating buy-in is a consideration that practitioners must take into account, this course provides creative ideas to help gain education for players, clubs and parents or guardians.
