The course also provides takeaways and factors for practitioners to consider when designing and implementing both warm ups and cool downs. James will provide insights into real-world examples and considerations to make when designing your own practice. He will cover:

- Traditional and modern practice of the warm up.
- Designing your own warm up and key factors to consider.
- What is a cool down and it’s purpose.
- Traditional and modern practice of the cool down.
- Key factors to consider when designing your own cool down.
- Sport specific examples of both warm ups and cool downs.
Upon completion of the course, practitioners will have an improved understanding of the science and history behind both warm ups and cool downs, and will be in a position to start to design and implement their own versions of practice.
