This course provides an introduction to Strength & Conditioning for football. Andy will provide an insight into how he programs for football players to maximise performance and minimise injury risk. You will also learn:
- Key research to consider for the physical demands of football
- How to contextualise research alongside video footage of players
- How to organise weekly schedules depending on the time of season
- Key strength, plyometric, speed & agility and game-speed considerations
- Why you might not need to train agility with football players.
- Upon completion of the course, you will have a deep understanding of how you can use research, video analysis and experience to create robust programs for football players.
