This mini course on hydration will aim to give you an introductory insight into the role of hydration and the key principles. You will explore the water requirements, and the degree to which water can be lost through exercise. The course will provide an understanding of the importance of water during exercise and how to make better decisions on hydration strategies for exercise too. 

You will learn:

  • What is hydration?
  • How do we lose water?
  • The science behind how and why our body uses water
  • Dehydration and proposed consequences 
  • How to create a hydration strategy 

By the end of this course you should fully understand how water works within the body and its importance as well as applying it in real world scenarios with athletes or a team.
