This course provides an introduction into the way sports practitioners can utilise GPS units and data to guide key decisions for their athletes. Michael will provide insight into how important GPS devices are within sport, and how they can benefit your practice. In addition, he will also take you through:
- How to ensure your GPS devices and data is most accurate for your context.
- How to choose the most appropriate GPS metrics.
- How to individualise and gain further insight into your GPS analysis.
- How to determine athlete fatigue is GPS signals are poor.
- Case study on how to use GPS to determine athlete fatigue and fitness responses during interval training.
- Case study looking at how to estimate neuromuscular fatigue using GPS.
Upon completion of the course, you will have a deep understanding of how you can use GPS devices within your sport, and gain knowledge on how to assess fatigue and fitness using GPS devices.
