An Introduction into Research Methods (Part Two)

This course follows on from 'Introduction to Research Methods - Part One'. Both courses provide an entry level look into the various research methods, background, terminology and methodology used with any old or new research designs. It is the perfect mini-course for any undergraduate or post-graduate student to learn an introduction into the methods used but is also ideal for practitioners who need a refresher or who may be new to the data collection and the research process.
This course will cover the following:
- Descriptive statistics
- Measures of central tendency (mean, medium, mode, range)
- Standard deviation
- Inferential statistics
- critical analysis
- Reading and interpreting data
- Data process
- Your role within research and data collection
By the end of this course (following on from part one) will provide thorougher insight into research terminology and practical takeaways you can apply into practice. The key examples from this course demonstrate how to work with a data set as well as understanding and interpreting the data.
