This course provides an entry level look into the various research methods, background, terminology and methodology used with any old or new research designs. It is the perfect mini-course for any undergraduate or post-graduate student to learn an introduction into the methods used but is also ideal for practitioners who need a refresher or who may be new to the data collection and the research process.
This course will cover the following:

- Overview of research options
- Various research designs
- Key principles
By the end of this mini-course you will have the knowledge and tools to understand the research process, the different styles of varying methods of research that exists, as well as be equipped to tackle your own research with the skills that Darren teaches you. Once completed this course it is recommended that you complete the course, Research Methods Part Two, as a natural follow on which explores a more practical look into the data sets.
